I made this video a while back now, and it’s been sitting in the vaults awaiting the release of the new single by Ellen and the Escapades. That day has come and here is my video to accompany the beautiful song by the band.

I love this documentary short, the craft that’s being kept alive in the content is inspiring, but the way it’s filmed is really nice too. I particularly like the shots of the hands at work. It really delivers a notion of craft by skilled hands.
The depth of field shouldn’t be so shallow in the interview bits I don’t think, kind of bugs me how it’s constantly...

Polaroid Back.
I’ve just been testing out my friends polaroid back for a 645 SLR, I’ve finally started getting some nice results.
I really struggled with understanding the loading of the film cartridge, it seemed to be the stupidest design ever conceived, but I eventually figured it out, with a little help from photo.net .
The couple shots below are the results, just snaps of things on the window...

I made a little book/zine of my own photography (black and white only this time)
I’m really pleased with it, I just wanted it to be super cheap and simple. It’s going to be sold at this weeks International Book Fair at Leeds University. I was unable to make lots in time, so unfortunately there will only be 5 copies available for a special price of 50p.

I built this simple little page which you find from their website, which displays a bunch of photographs I took in the summer while touring Switzerland with them, I’m really proud to have been in the van with the band on this amazing journey, I never stopped feeling privileged to be there for one second, and never rested in capturing as much as possible through a lens.
